About
Nathan Westfall
I worked in the wine industry before I started writing software for it.
That order matters. I build for the people who actually do the work, and the software has to be simple for them, however much is going on underneath.
These days most of what is going on underneath involves AI. I build systems where assistants and agents work alongside people on live data, and I spend a lot of time on the unglamorous parts that make that safe: permissions, audit trails, verification and clear boundaries on what an agent may do. You can read more under Work.
I'm based in Sonoma, California. If you'd like to talk about a project, please get in touch.
